Objective:
The student applies mathematical process standards to use equations and inequalities to solve real world problems.
Lesson Plan: 🔗 TEKS 6.10 🔗
Standards:
6.10(A) model and solve one‐variable, one‐step equations and inequalities that represent problems, including geometric concepts.
6.10(B) determine if the given value(s) make(s) one‐variable, one‐step equations or inequalities true.

Differentiation:
Accommodations for instruction will be provided as stated on each student’s (IEP) Individual Education Plan for special education, 504, at risk, and ESL/Bilingual. Differentiation will be through small groups, visuals, use of calculators, extra time, supplemental aids and reteach if necessary.
Homework:
To be assigned.
Journal:
How are inverse operations used to solve equations?
How are mathematical properties used to solve equations?
What process can you use to solve an equation?
Give examples of how to simplify or generate an equivalent expression.
